​At Build Church Africa, we believe that missions are more than just short visits—they are life-changing encounters for both the missionaries and the communities they serve. Our mission trips are designed to bring people together from across the world to share faith, skills, and love in practical ways.

🌍 Why Mission Trips?

Many rural communities including refugees in Uganda face challenges such as lack of churches, limited access to Bibles, poor school facilities, and lack of basic needs like food and clean water. Through mission trips, we connect willing volunteers with these communities to make a tangible impact.

🤝 What Missionaries Do

Participants in our mission trips engage in a variety of activities, including:

• Church Construction – Helping local congregations build safe and lasting places of worship and equipping the church with furniture so that they should not sit on dust floor.

• Bible Distribution & Evangelism – Sharing God’s Word with those who have never owned a Bible.

• Community Outreach – Supporting families through food programs, clean water initiatives, and basic healthcare.

• Education Support – Teaching, mentoring, and providing resources to children in schools and support in school construction and school desks.

• Children & Youth Ministry at School and Church– Organizing Bible studies, music dance and drama, sports, and discipleship for young people.

 

Short- and Long-Term Opportunities

• Short-Term Trips (1–3 weeks): Ideal for church groups, youth teams, or individuals who want to experience mission work firsthand.

• Long-Term Missions (3–12 months): Designed for those who feel called to invest deeper, working alongside our local teams to build sustainable change.
