When parents live in poverty, their children suffer. Without a source of income, they are unable to provide vital food, medicine, cloth, and pay school fees.

Families do not know where their next meal will come from and are taking on huge debt, selling off what they can, or sending their children to work or married off their daughters before 18 years old.

Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same” (Luke 3:11).

The believer who selflessly gives to the poor will be blessed by God. “He who is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, / and he will reward him for what he has done” (Proverbs 19:17).
