Build Church Africa (BCA) is a faith Based Organization that was started founded by Melinda and Deacon Bienvenu Byamungu who are passionate about spreading the gospel of God in unreached poor communities in Uganda.

 

Uganda is the poorest, the third largest refugee host country in the world and the largest refugee host country in Africa hosting over 1.5 million refugees, which 85% are children and women forced to flee from conflict and war in the Democratic Republic of Congo, South Sudan, Burundi, Somalia, and Rwanda leaving behind their homes, livelihoods, education and churches.

 

 

Why Build Church Africa (BCA) was formed.

Without Church, Christians are forced to pray under trees, in all weather in Uganda. They are exposed to the elements, distracted, and unable to pray. For those who do have some shelter, it is often unstable, with holes in the roof that let the rain in, leaving children, women, men cold wet, and destroy their work that forced to end the church services in the middle.

 

There are many Christians around the world who want to strengthen their faith. Some would like to learn the Bible, others would like to pray in safe church, thus Build Church Africa was formed valuable. Build Church Africa will support New Apostolic Churches, Catholic Churches, Baptist Church and other churches in Uganda.

We ensure Christians are in safe and inspiring worshiping environments through churches infrastructure upgrades.

 

Mission Statement

We believe that no Christians should be forced to pray outside, or in a dangerous environment. With access to a good church, Christians can focus on their faith and future.

 

Build Church Africa programming is guided by the following four

strategic objectives:

Our purpose is to glorify God by sharing His love with refugees and the marginalized community in Uganda by;

• Building safe churches and quality latrine so that Christians can focus on their faith and worship God.

• Equipping the churches with Bibles, Christian song books, music instruments and furnitures.

• Empower and capacity building through training of local ministry to nurture Christian growth in their own communities.

• Feeding the hungry in sustainable way and emergency relief to care for the vulnerable and marginalized people.

God’s mission invites us to join hands with our churches and to walk together as companions with our sisters and brothers around the world to enhance the life and faith. Our approach to achieve our mission, we identify and partner with local churches both within refugees’ settlement camps and Ugandan community in Uganda.

 

We are committed to join with others in building churches, equip the churches with free Bibles, song books, music instruments, provide quality church furniture’s, build capacity in the local ministry and feeding the hungry
